Your watch doesn't travel to a service centre hundreds of kilometres away: it goes into the workshop behind the counter, and it's opened by someone who has repaired watches for a living, for three generations.
In the workshop inside the jewellery shop we service and repair wristwatches — mechanical, automatic and quartz — as well as alarm clocks, pendulum clocks, longcase and wall clocks, and jewellery. With equipment suited to every kind of job and one simple rule: before talking about cost, the watch is opened and examined.
How it works
Bring it into the shop
No appointment needed, during opening hours, at Via Pompeo 9/C in Pompiano. If it's been stopped in a drawer for years, bring it in anyway: that's our favourite kind of case.
We open it and tell you what's wrong
The estimate is made with the watch open, not from a price list: we look at the movement and tell you what's wrong and what it costs to get it running again. Looking inside costs nothing.
You decide
With a clear estimate, it's your choice whether to go ahead. The watch stays here, in our workshop: it isn't sent to third parties, and the timescale depends on us alone.

The watchmaker's bench
Every repair begins here: the watch is opened, the movement examined, the job decided. And around the bench is the equipment for every kind of work — from a battery replaced on the spot to the full service of a mechanism from another age.
Tiziano, third generation
At the bench is someone who learned this craft in the family and refined it in Switzerland, at the ETA manufacture's training centre. The watch you leave with us is opened, repaired and handed back by the same person: no change of hands, no shipping.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a watch repair cost?
The possible work on a watch — and so the cost — is too varied for a price list. That's why the estimate is made with the watch open, free and with no obligation: before you decide, you know exactly what's wrong and what it costs to get it running again.
How long does it take?
A battery is replaced on the spot. A mechanical service must first be assessed, but as a rule it never takes more than 15–20 days — and the timescale depends solely on our workshop, because the watch is not sent to third parties.
Do you replace the battery while I wait?
Yes, on the spot. Diving watches are the exception: after the case is opened, water-resistance checks have to be carried out again, so those take longer.
Do you repair antique or high-value watches?
Yes. Pendulum clocks, longcase and wall clocks, vintage wristwatches: horological micro-mechanics has been the family speciality since 1930, and the workshop has the equipment to work on mechanisms from another age too.
Is the repair guaranteed?
Yes: services are guaranteed for 6 to 12 months, depending on the type of watch.
Do I need an appointment?
