At the heart of the watch is the light-powered Eco-Drive movement, the technology with which Citizen converts any light source — natural or artificial — into energy for the movement. It requires no battery replacement and, at full charge, offers a 180-day reserve even in the dark: simply expose it to light for it to start running again. An autonomy designed to free you from maintenance, in keeping with Citizen's philosophy of reliable, low-impact watches.
Materials, resistance and the Ravelli guarantee
The construction combines a stainless steel case and bracelet with a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, while the 5 bar water resistance makes it suited to everyday use. Every Citizen purchased from Oreficeria Ravelli, official retailer, is covered by an official 2-year Citizen warranty, extendable by a further 3 years (up to 5 years in total in Italy; abroad, the 2-year warranty applies); our in-house workshop is available for adjusting the bracelet and for any advice on the watch.
