An essential automatic, for every day
The Citizen NJ0228-51L is a men's watch with an understated, timeless character. The 38.5 mm stainless steel case draws a measured, discreet profile, easy to wear on the wrist on any occasion, while the time-only function with date keeps the dial clean and immediate to read. The stainless steel bracelet completes a timepiece designed to accompany the day with discreet elegance.
The appeal of the automatic mechanical movement
At the heart of this watch beats a 21-jewel automatic self-winding mechanical movement: no battery, but pure mechanics that wind with the natural motion of the wrist. The screw-down case back with transparent window lets you admire the gear train at work, revealing the micro-mechanics that drive the seconds hand with its characteristic sweeping glide. It is Citizen's watchmaking heritage, a brand that for over a century has combined reliability and the culture of time.
Construction, robustness and Ravelli assistance
The stainless steel structure is protected by a scratch-resistant mineral crystal, while the water resistance up to 10 bar (100 metres) makes it suited to everyday use without worry. Every Citizen purchased from Oreficeria Ravelli is covered by an official 2-year Citizen warranty, extendable by a further 3 years (up to 5 years in total in Italy; abroad, the 2-year warranty applies): we are authorised retailers and our in-house workshop is on hand for bracelet resizing, advice and after-sales assistance.
