Eco-Drive and radio control: precision according to Citizen
The heart of the timepiece is the Eco-Drive movement, the technology with which Citizen converts any light source, natural or artificial, into energy: no battery to replace and a 10-month power reserve when the watch stays in the dark. To this is added the 5-channel radio-controlled system, capable of receiving the time signal from the USA, Europe, China and Japan and automatically aligning the exact time. It is the challenge Citizen took on and won: a tolerance of one second every 10 million years, a record that remains an incomparable hallmark of the maison.
Stainless steel, sapphire and the Oreficeria Ravelli warranty
The construction is entirely in stainless steel, both for the case and the bracelet, with a GIP stainless steel tachymeter bezel and sapphire crystal protecting the dial from scratches. The water resistance up to 20 bar makes it suitable even for the most demanding uses.
