Eco-Drive and radio control: energy from light, precision from the sky
At the heart of the timepiece is the Eco-Drive movement, the Citizen technology that converts any light source, natural or artificial, into energy: the watch recharges itself and requires no battery replacement. Once fully charged it has a 10-month reserve, with the charge-level indicator clearly visible on the dial. To this autonomy is added 5-channel radio control, which receives the time signal from the USA, Europe, Japan and China to keep the time always exact, automatically.
Construction, materials and the Ravelli guarantee
The 41 mm case and the bracelet are made of stainless steel, for a robustness built to last over time. The dial is protected by sapphire crystal, among the most scratch-resistant materials, while the WR 20 bar water resistance makes it suited to relaxed use. Every Citizen purchased at Oreficeria Ravelli is covered by an official 2-year Citizen warranty, extendable by a further 3 years (up to 5 years in total in Italy; abroad, the 2-year warranty applies): our in-house workshop and our advice are available for the choice, the bracelet sizing and assistance over time.
