The Citizen Skyhawk JY8100-80L is much more than a watch: it is a navigation instrument born from the aviation tradition of the Japanese maison. Eco-Drive and radio-controlled reception: exact time, no battery
The heart of the Skyhawk is the Eco-Drive movement: it is powered by any light source, natural or artificial, converting it into energy and eliminating the need to replace the battery. A full charge ensures a 180-day reserve, with the charge level indicator right on the dial. To this is added the 5-channel radio-controlled reception, which automatically synchronises the time by picking up the time signals of the USA, Europe, China and Japan: the watch adjusts itself and stays always exact, wherever you are.
Super Titanium and sapphire crystal: lightness and resistance
The case and bracelet are made of Super Titanium, the material treated by Citizen to combine extreme lightness, high scratch resistance and full skin compatibility. The sapphire crystal protects the dial while maintaining its clarity over time, whilst the water resistance of 20 bar and the case diameter of 45 mm make it a timepiece of bold and reliable character.
